90 minCrispy fries without a single drop of oil? Yes, and they actually deliver that satisfying crunch.
The trick is parboiling the potatoes first, then cutting them into fry shapes and baking on a sheet pan until they turn golden and crisp at the edges.
Season with salt, garlic powder, paprika, or whatever makes your heart sing. Six potatoes, one pan, zero guilt.
Kitchen Tips
- Parboiling first creates a starchy exterior that crisps up beautifully in the oven
- Spread fries in a single layer with space between them; overcrowding leads to steaming instead of crisping
- Flip once halfway through baking for even browning on both sides
- Leave the skins on for extra fiber and a rustic look
