1 hrsIf you’ve ever been to a potluck in the Midwest, you’ve probably seen a version of this disappear from the table in minutes.
A golden crescent roll crust gets spread with a tangy blend of sour cream and seafood sauce, then loaded with shrimp, flaked crab, chopped broccoli, bell peppers, and sliced scallions.
The whole thing chills until firm, then gets sliced into neat little squares that people absolutely demolish.
No oven juggling at party time since you make it all ahead and serve it cold.
Pro Tips
- Press the crescent roll perforations together firmly so the crust bakes into one solid sheet
- Let the crust cool completely before spreading the sour cream layer so it doesn’t melt and slide off
- Chop the vegetables small so the squares hold together when people pick them up
- Make this the morning of your event and keep it refrigerated so flavors have time to meld
