5 minThree ingredients, zero cooking, and about five minutes between you and a frozen peanut butter treat. Spread crunchy peanut butter on a graham cracker square, pile on vanilla ice milk, and press another cracker on top.
The crunchy peanut butter is doing more than adding flavor. It acts as a glue between the cracker and the ice milk, keeping the sandwich from sliding apart when you bite into it. The nut pieces add texture against the smooth, cold ice milk.
Use ice milk that’s slightly softened so it spreads without snapping the graham crackers. Too hard and you’ll crack the cracker in half trying to press it together.
Wrap finished sandwiches in plastic and freeze for 30 minutes if you want them firmer, or eat right away for a softer, messier version. Kids love assembling these themselves.
