| 1 | cup | sugar | granulated |
| 1 | cup | brown sugar | packed |
| 1 | cup | margarine | |
| 1 | cup | vegetable oil | |
| 1 | each | egg | beaten |
| 1 | teaspoon | vanilla extract | |
| 3 1/2 | cups | flour, all-purpose | |
| 1 | teaspoon | salt | |
| 1 | teaspoon | baking soda | |
| 1 | teaspoon | cream of tartar | |
| 1 | cup | crisp rice cereal | |
| 1 | cup | coconut | |
| 1 | cup | nuts | chopped |
| 1 | cup | oats, quick cooking | uncooked |
Cream sugars and margarine.
Add oil, egg and vanilla to creamed mixture, and mix well.
Sift dry ingredients and add to sugar mixture.
Add cereals, nuts and coconut and blend well.
This will be a stiff dough.
Flatten spoonfuls of dough on to greased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees F for 10-15 minutes, or until browned.
