| 1/2 | cup | butter | |
| 2 | tablespoons | sugar | |
| 1 | teaspoon | vanilla extract | |
| 1 | cup | cake flour | |
| 1 | cup | walnuts | ground |
Cream together butter and sugar.
Add the remaining ingredients.
Roll into balls and bake for 30 minutes in a 325 degrees F oven.
When warm, roll in confectioners' sugar and cool.
Repeat rolling in sugar.
This was the exact recipie I was looking for. My mom used to make these when we were kids.
They turned our super! Also easy!

very good, one of my favorite thai restaurants is 'the king and i' in edmonton canada. they serve the best coconut rice i've ever had. this recipe comes very close to it, however when i made it , i added 2 1/2 t. spoons of sugar instead of one. still not quite as sweet , next time i'll add three. thanx for the recipe.
