| 1 1/3 | cups | oat bran | |
| 1/2 | cup | raisins, seedless | |
| 1 | each | apple | shredded |
| 1 | tablespoon | maple syrup | |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | caraway seeds | ground |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | cinnamon | ground |
| 1 | cup | milk, skim |
In a 2-quart saucepan, bring the water and oat bran to a vigorous boil, stirring constantly. Reduce the heat to low and cook for 2 minutes, stirring frequently, until thick.
Remove from heat and stir in the raisins, apples, maple syrup, caraway, and cinnamon. Let stand 5 minutes. Spoon into bowls and serve with the milk.
