THIS DOESN’T WORK. Firstly, you must boil 1 cup water and ½ cup sugar until it reaches a syrup like consistency. Then fry the gram flour and stir in the sugar, off the heat.

Directions

Melt shortening in a pan.

Turn down heat and add cardamom and Besan.

Fry, stirring constantly to prevent burning until it has changed Turn off heat and stir in sugar. Spread on a platter ½ inch thick. Cut into diamond shapes after it has cooled down.
