| 2 | cups | corn flakes | |
| 2 | cups | oatmeal | |
| 1 | cup | coconut | |
| 1 | cup | pecans | chopped |
| 2 | cups | butter | |
| 2 | cups | brown sugar | |
| 2 | cups | sugar | white |
| 4 | large | eggs | |
| 2 | teaspoons | vanilla extract | |
| 4 | cups | flour, all-purpose | |
| 2 | teaspoons | baking soda | |
| 2 | teaspoons | baking powder | |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | salt |
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
In a large bowl, mix corn flakes, oatmeal, coconut, pecans and semisweet chocolate chips.
In mixer, cream together butter, brown sugar and white sugar.
Add eggs, vanilla, flour, baking powder, soda and salt to creamed mixture and mix well.
Combine dry mixture with creamed mixture and mix well.
Use 1/4 measure cup of batter for each cookie, six to a cookie sheet.
Bake 15 minutes or until light brown.
I've been bringing these cookies to a Christmas cookie exhange for 2 years now, and in each of those years they've been voted hands down the winner (amongst a large group of contenders). They are crunchy and chewy at the same time, and the chocolate and coconut melt in your mouth in the best possible way. I've always omitted the pecans, but I imagine that would put them right over the top!

Good, though the fruit burnt slightly for us. Would have been better with Chicken Breasts, we thought.
