Ingredients

2 cups bread, french day old
3 each pork sausage slices, cut 1/4 inch
1 each granny smith apples peeled and chopped
3 large eggs
1 cup milk
1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
1/4 cup swiss cheese shredded

Directions

Tear French bread into 1-inch pieces.

Cover the bottom of an ungreased quiche dish with bread pieces.

Add the sliced sausage and apple.

In a medium bowl, whisk the eggs and milk together and pour over the bread mixture.

Bake at 350° F for 40 minutes. Cool 10 minutes before slicing.

Makes 6 servings.
