| 1 | cup | sugar | |
| 1/2 | cup | brown sugar | packed |
| 3/4 | cup | butter | or margarine,softened |
| 2 | tablespoons | water | |
| 2 | large | eggs | |
| 1 | teaspoon | vanilla extract | |
| 3 | cups | flour, all-purpose | |
| 1 | teaspoon | baking soda | |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | salt | |
| 2 | each | mint chocolate wafers | 6 ounces each |
| 60 | each | walnuts | halved |
In a large bowl, blend sugars, margarine, water, vanilla and eggs until well mixed.
Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off.
In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt; mix well.
Add sugar mixture; mix at low speed until well blended.
Cover; refrigerate at least 2 hours for easier handling.
Heat oven to 375 degrees F.
Using about 1 tablespoon dough,press around each candy wafer to cover completely.
Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
Top each with walnut half.
Bake at 375 degrees for 7 to 9 minutes or until golden brown.

I love this recipe, it's easy and delicious and uses ingredients I usually have on hand. I recommend adding garlic at the END of the browning of the chicken, so garlic won't burn. If you use regular Soy Sauce (instead of Low Salt), add less - 1/4 cup is plenty.
