| 1/2 | peck | tomatoes, green | |
| 1/2 | peck | tomatoes | ripe |
| 2 | quarts | vinegar |
Chop all vegetables.
Sprinkle with salt. Let stand overnight.
Drain.
Add remaining ingredients.
Cook slowly until vegetables are tender.
