or pecans, coarsely chopped

Directions

Heat oven to 350℉ (180℃).

Mix sugar, egg, milk and Bisquick.

Beat vigorously 30 seconds .

Batter will be slightly lumpy.

Blend in anise, fruit and nuts.

Pour into well greased loaf pan, 9x5x3 inch.

Bake 45 to 50 minutes, or until toothpick stuck into center comes out clean.

Crack in top is typical.

Cool before slicing.

This is easy and very good. Just make sure it is cool before slicing, otherwise the slice will break up
