"turtle herbs" are what now?

Have an old Waldorf recipe for turtle soup (beef-based, no turtle meat involved) which calls for "turtle herbs", but doesn't specify what the devil those actually are, only that they can be acquired at specialty shops. Well, every specialty shop I've gone to have no idea what that would be, so...anyone know what "turtle herbs" are and where one can acquire them?
