I am hoping you can assist me in locating a recipe that was put out by Foodland Ontario about 12 years ago. It was a mincemeat recipe which used regular crushed tomatoes rather than the green variety that seems to be the common base in most. I had doctored the recipe and had added more varieties of dried fruits than originally called for (eg. apricots, honey dates, figs, etc.) If anyone knows of this recipe or can suggest how I can adapt the green variety recipe I would be greatly appreciative.
