Very popular Indian spice mix best known for use on Tandoori chicken.

Ingredients

3 each cardamom pods
shells discarded, keep the seeds

1 each cloves, whole

2 teaspoons coriander seeds
2 tablespoons onion, dried flakes
2 teaspoons cumin seeds
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon black peppercorns

Directions

Grind all ingredients together in a spice grinder or use a pestle and mortar.

Store in an airtight container.

Use whole spices if you can and grind them yourself. It will make a huge difference on the amount of flavor.
