This is from an article that I cut out of our local newspaper years ago. I swear by it! If you make deviled eggs, this is a MUST! Follow every step and; you will have great results - and EASY-TO-PEEL eggs!

Hard-cook eggs this way: Put cold eggs in a saucepan, in a single layer, in cold water to cover by about 1½ inches. Add 1 teaspoon salt for every 4 eggs. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Immediately lower heat so the water bubbles gently. Cook 3 minutes. Cover, remove from heat and let stand 15 minutes. Cool eggs under cold running water. When cold, peel or refrigerate up to four days.
