TABLESPOONS ML ALL-PURPOSE FLOUR
gf: Oat flour *

TABLESPOONS ML BUTTER
vegan *

CUP ML MILK
any plant milk *

CAN CAN SWEET PEAS
drained *

SLICES SLICES BREAD
toasted, buttered *

Directions

In a large saucepan, melt butter and add flour slowly to thicken it.

When it is almost like a paste, slowly add the milk and whisk to avoid lumps.

Continue stirring on low heat until the mixture thickens.

Add the drained can of peas and cook until peas are heated through.

Pour over buttered slices of toasted bread, add salt and pepper to taste.

Optional: Spread yellow mustard and/or relish on the toast
