Basic White Sauce W/Variations

With the help of this simple recipe, you will be able to make a tasty white sauce that can accompany any of the meals you make!

Ingredients

TABLESPOONS ML BUTTER
2 3E+1
TABLESPOONS ML ALL-PURPOSE FLOUR

CUP ML MILK

to taste *

X X BLACK PEPPER
to taste *

Directions

Blend milk and flour. Add butter [melted]. Mix together. Heat on medium in microwave about one minute. Stir. Repeat until reaches desired thickness.

Variations:

Cheese - add ½ cup cheese and either ¼ teaspoon dry mustard or ¼ teaspoon spice sauce such as teriyaki or Worcestershire, etc.

Red - add 3 tbsp ketchup.

Curry - ½ teaspoon curry powder.

Cucumber - add ½ cup grated or diced cucumber and pinch of cayenne.

Sea Food - add ½ cup cooked cocktail shrimp or chopped other sea food.
