| 1/3 | cup | powdered sugar | |
| 1/4 | cup | cocoa powder | |
| 1 1/2 | cups | cake flour | |
| Mocha filling | |||
| 1 | tablespoon | butter | or margarine |
| 1 | ounces | chocolate unsweetened | unsweetened |
| 1 | cup | powdered sugar | |
| 1 | teaspoon | vanilla extract | |
| 2 | tablespoons | coffee | hot, or water |
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Lightly grease cookie sheets or line with parchment paper.
Beat 1 cup butter, confectioners' sugar and cocoa in large bowl until fluffy.
Blend in cake flour until smooth. Shape dough into marble-size balls (if dough is too soft to handle, cover and refrigerate until firm).
Place 2 inches apart on prepared cookie sheets. Press center of each ball with knuckle of finger to make indentation.
Bake 10-12 minutes or until set.
Remove to wire racks.
Prepare the mocha filling. While cookies are still warm, spoon about 1/2 teaspoonful filling into center of each.

You're making pastry cream for a banana cream pie for dessert tomorrow. Chilling it overnight should render it appetizingly ...
This recipe is easy and delicious!! We made a few changes: used thin chicken breasts (or you can pound them flat), add grated ginger, less soy sauce, substitute honey for the suger and chili oil for the cayenne pepper. We ate it with veggie fried rice (made in the same wok for easy cleanup). Yum!
