| 2 | tablespoons | rice wine vinegar | |
| 2 | tablespoons | water | |
| 1 | tablespoon | ginger root | fresh, chopped |
| 1 | tablespoon | celery | chopped |
| 1 | tablespoon | soy sauce | * |
| 1 1/2 | teaspoons | tomato paste | |
| 1 1/2 | teaspoons | sugar | |
| 1 | teaspoon | lemon juice | |
| 1 | dash | salt | |
| 1 | dash | black pepper |
* May substitute low sodium/light soy sauce.
Combine all ingredients in blender and process until almost smooth.
Makes 6 servings; about 2 tbs + 2 tsp each.
Unused portions may be stored in a covered container in the refrigerator.
