Ingredients

54 ounces sauerkraut bavarian style, undrained, 2 x 27 ounce cans
2 pounds sausage polish kielbasa, pre-cooked, cut into 3 inch pieces
1 each onion thinly sliced, seperated into rings
1 teaspoon chicken bouillon, powdered instant
2 teaspoons celery seeds

Directions

In bottom of slow cooking pot, layer 1 can sauerkraut, 1 lb sausage pieces, half the onion slices, 1/2 ts boulllon and 1/4 ts celery seed. Repeat layers.

Cover and cook at Low for 7-9 hours or High for 3-4 hours. Serve with boiled potatoes and apple raisin salad.

Very good! I cut the recipe in half and it came out great. The flavor of the sausage mixed well with the kraut. The sausage was so tender it melted in your mouth. For sausage and kraut lovers, I highly recommend it.
