Nutmeg Bread recipe

This bread can either accompany or replace the Southwestem breakfast staple of refried beans topped with cheese or wrapped in a flour tortilla.

This recipe makes a dense, small loaf, with much the consistency of a bagel, but very good. It is a cross between pumpkin pie and raisin bread.
