Five ingredients. Twenty minutes. One ridiculously creamy bowl of pasta.

Thin strips of turkey breast sear golden in butter with minced garlic, then get bathed in heavy cream simmered with fresh basil and Parmesan. The sauce reduces into a glossy, clingy coating that wraps around every strand of hot pasta.

This is the kind of weeknight meal that feels like you ordered it from a white-tablecloth Italian spot.

Chef Tips

  • Slice the turkey thin so it cooks fast and stays juicy
  • Use fresh basil if you can; it makes a noticeable difference in a sauce this simple
  • Toss the pasta in the sauce immediately so it absorbs the cream
  • A splash of pasta cooking water helps loosen the sauce if it thickens too much
