Cream cheese gets mixed with sugar, vanilla, and a squeeze of fresh lemon, then spooned onto rolled-out crescent dough triangles.
Fold, roll, bake. That’s it. In about 12 minutes you’ve got 16 golden, flaky little pastries with a warm, tangy-sweet cream cheese center that tastes like you fussed way more than you did.
Five ingredients. One bowl. Zero stress.
Kitchen Tips
- Roll the crescent dough thinner than it comes out of the can so you get a crispier, more delicate pastry
- Use clear vanilla extract if you can find it. It keeps the filling bright white instead of speckling it
- Let the cream cheese come to room temperature before mixing so there are no lumps
- Watch them closely in the oven. They go from golden to burnt fast at the 10-minute mark

Directions
Mix all except rolls together in bowl.
Seperate rolls, and roll them out thinner (like pie crust).
Place 2 to 3 tablespoons of filling in middle of long edge.
Fold corners up and roll up remaining flap.
Bake at 350℉ (180℃) F until brown (10-12 minutes).
These are quick, easy and great for unexpected company.
They look better if you use clear vanilla.
