20 minBusy morning? This is a breakfast hack that kids actually get excited about.
Toast up frozen French toast slices, layer fresh sliced strawberries mixed with strawberry or raspberry yogurt between two pieces, cut in half, and serve. That’s the whole recipe.
It reads simple because it is simple, but the combination of warm, crispy toast with cold, creamy fruit filling hits differently than plain French toast with syrup.
It’s a sandwich, so little hands can hold it. It’s fruit and dairy, so you feel good about serving it. Everybody wins.
Kitchen Tips
- Use thick-cut frozen French toast for sturdier sandwiches that hold the filling without getting soggy
- Swap in any berry-flavored yogurt you have on hand; raspberry and mixed berry work just as well
- Let the kids build their own for a fun, hands-on breakfast activity
