| 1/2 | pound | grapes | |
| 6 | ounces | ham | cooked |
| Dressing | |||
| 1/2 | cup | yogurt | |
| 1/4 | teaspoon | salt | |
| 1/4 | teaspoon | white pepper | white |
| 1 | teaspoon | honey | |
Rinse and drain sauerkraut; chop coarsely.
Wash grapes and cut in half; remove seeds if desired.
Cut ham in julienne strips.
Gently mix these 3 ingredients.
Blend dressing ingredients and stir into sauerkraut mixture.
Marinate for 10 minutes; adjust seasoning before serving, if necessary.

It’s pretty amazing how in five seconds a new year can begin but you still feel the same. Sure your surroundings may drastically change (especially if you’re at Times Square in New York) but you don’t feel different. That’s the magic of New Years ...
Tastes delicious ... but 3 TB broth for 8 oz. rice sticks? Even with the vegetable juices and soy sauce, it takes a pint or more of broth to hydrate the rice noodles, an it's still a dry dish (as it's supposed to be), not soupy. I made it with a rounded cup of shrimp and dices ham; more meat would be better.
