Ingredients

2 cups flour, all-purpose
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 cup butter

Directions

Oven 325~F.

Mix butter and sugar until creamy.

Add sifted dry ingredients.

Chill until easy to handle.

Roll out to 1/4-inch thickness on lightly-floured board or wax paper.

Cut into desired shapes (I have a bird cutter and Christmas tree).

Bake on ungreased sheet at 325~F for 10 to 15 minutes.

Cookies may be sprinkled with colored sugars before baking, if desired.

Baked Beans C/P

Great basic bean recipe for bean lovers. The only thing missing in the recipe is an indication of what size of crockpot to use. The four quart one we used was a bit too small, but after adjustment of ingredients it turned out great!
