| 2/3 | cup | salad dressing, italian, low-fat | low calorie |
| 1/2 | cup | parmesan, parmigiano-reggiano cheese, grated | shredded |
| 2 | each | carrots | chopped, 1 cup |
| 1 | each | green bell pepper | chopped, 1 cup |
| 15 | ounces | kidney beans, canned | rinsed and drained |
| 15 | ounces | chickpeas (garbanzo beans) | rinsed and drained |
| 14 1/2 | ounces | italian plum (roma) tomatoes | canned, or stewed or diced tomatoes , drained |
Cook and drain pasta as directed on package.
Toss pasta and remaining ingredients. Serve warm or cold.
