2 dozen balls
suggest servings
| 3 | cups | vanilla wafers | finely crushed |
| 1 | cup | pecans | chopped |
| 3/4 | cup | powdered sugar | |
| 1/2 | cup | liqueur | irish cream style |
| 3 | tablespoons | corn syrup, light | |
| 1 1/2 | teaspoons | cocoa powder | |
| 1 | x | powdered sugar | for rolling |
Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix with a wooden spoon until well blended.
Allow to stand 5 minutes. Shape mixture into 1-inch balls.
Roll balls in powdered sugar.
Allow to dry on wire rack 1 hour.
Roll in powdered sugar again if desired.
Store in airtight container between layers of wax paper.

General:Nutmeg is the seed of Myristica fragrans, an evergreen tree native to the Molucca Islands. Interestingly, the tree produces both Nutmeg and mace, and grows up to 60 feet tall....
This recipe was very easy to do. For someone who is new at canning, this is an ideal recipe!
