| 6 | each | pears | |
| 1 | cup | flour, all-purpose | |
| 1 | cup | sugar | |
| 1 | teaspoon | baking powder | |
| 5 | large | eggs | |
| 3 | tablespoons | water | |
| 1 | pinch | cinnamon | |
| 1 | pinch | salt | |
| 1/4 | pound | butter | softened |
Chop unpeeled pears into bite-sized chunks.
Arrange the fruit on the bottom of a greased tart pan.
To make the pastry, mix all ingredients, except softened butter, with a beater.
When well-blended, add butter. Pour batter over the fruit.
Bake in a 300 degrees F. oven for 30 minutes.
