Hearty chicken stew with mushrooms, carrots, and radiatore pasta simmered in a sage-seasoned broth. A comforting one-pot meal using cooked chicken for speed.

This is the kind of stew you throw together when you need something warm and filling on the table without a lot of fuss.

Pre-cooked chicken goes straight into a pot of chicken broth with mushrooms, carrots, and a sauteed onion, so it comes together fast.

Sage and garlic salt give it that classic, soul-warming flavor, and a pound of radiatore pasta turns it into a full meal in one pot.

Toss in a bag of frozen vegetables at the end for color and crunch without any extra prep work.

Kitchen Tips

  • This is a great way to use up leftover rotisserie chicken
  • Cook the pasta directly in the stew for maximum flavor absorption, or separately if you prefer a cleaner broth
  • Thicken with a flour slurry (flour whisked into cold water) added gradually until you reach your preferred consistency
