| 3/4 | cup | onions | chopped |
| 3 | tablespoons | chicken broth | de-flated |
| 2 | cups | tomatoes | fresh, pureed |
| 1 | teaspoon | basil | sweet |
| 1 | medium | garlic cloves | pressed |
| 1/4 | teaspoon | black pepper | coarsely ground |
| 10 1/2 | ounces | silken tofu | drained |
In a medium saucepan, sauté onions in chicken stock until transparent.
Add pureed tomatoes along with next three ingredients.
Simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.
In a blender or a food processor,process tofu until smooth and stir into the tomato mixture.
Simmer and serve hot.
