| 1 1/2 | cups | cheddar cheese, very old, sharp | shredded |
| 8 | ounces | cream cheese | softened |
| 2 1/2 | tablespoons | sherry | dry |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | curry powder | |
| 1/4 | teaspoon | salt | |
| 1/3 | cup | chutney | finely chopped |
| 1 | tablespoon | chives | snipped |
| 1 | x | crackers | |
| 1 | x | fruit | fresh |
Combine first five ingredients and blend well.
Stir in chutney.
Turn into serving dish.
Top with chives if for appetizer and serve with crackers.
If served as a dessert, serve with fresh fruit to dip into mixture.
