| 1 | stick | butter | |
| 1 | tablespoon | milk | |
| 1/2 | cup | pecans | chopped |

| 1 | package | cream cheese | softened |
| 2 | large | eggs | |
| 3 1/2 | cups | powdered sugar | |
| 1 | teaspoon | vanilla extract | |
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease or spray Pam in 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan.
Set aside.
2. FOR BASE, combine cake mix, 2 eggs, butter, milk and nuts in a large bowl.
Mix well until just moistened. Spread evenly in pan.
3. FOR TOPPING, beat cream cheese in large bowl at medium Beat in 2 eggs,sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
Spread evenly over base.
4. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
Edges and top will be light golden brown and will have a slightly shiny appearance.
Cool completely. Cut into squares. This recipe makes about 2 dozen bars.

Very good! I live in Canada and my favourite place to go for onion bagels was Tim Horton's, but unfortunately most locations don't make them any more. These are just as good, if not better, because they have a Montreal-style bagel quality about them. I will be making them again!!
