Chicken in Spicy Brown Sauce

Ingredients

3 each chicken breast halves, boneless and skinless split
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
5 ounces tomato sauce canned
1/2 cup picante sauce
4 teaspoons cocoa powder unsweetened
1 teaspoon cumin ground
1 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1 dash cloves
1 dash nutmeg
1 dash allspice ground

Directions

Pound chicken to 1/2 inch thick.

Lightly brown in oil in large skillet, about 2 minutes on each side; drain off fat.

Combine remaining ingredients; mix well.

Pour over chicken in skillet.

Bring to boil.

Reduce heat;cover and simmer, gently, 10 minutes.

Remove chicken to serving platter;keep warm.

Cook and stir sauce until slightly thickened,about 3 to 5 minutes.

Spoon sauce over chicken.
