Ingredients

3/4cup butter or margarine
2 1/4cups sugar
3large eggs
5 1/4cups flour, all-purpose
3/4teaspoon salt
3/4teaspoon baking soda
1tablespoon baking powder
1 1/2cups sour cream
1 1/2teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet)
2/3cup sugar
1tablespoon cinnamon ground

Directions

Cream butter and first amount of sugar. Add eggs and mix well.

Sift flour with salt, soda and baking powder.

Alternately add to egg mixture with sour cream.

Add vanilla and fold in chocolate pieces.

Drop by heaping teaspoons onto greased baking sheets.

Combine remaining sugar with cinnamon and sprinkle over each cookie.

Bake at 375F 12 minutes.

Carne Guisada

This is a delicious recipe! I made it with pork chops instead of stew meat and used Swanson's canned chicken broth instead of water and used fresh garlic instead of garlic powder. It was absolutely delicious. The longer it cooks (on low heat), the better it tastes. I let it cooks for 2 hours and it was fabulous. Thank you for this recipe!
