| 1/2 | cup | vegetable shortening | |
| 1 | cup | sugar | |
| 1 | cup | sour milk | |
| 2 | large | eggs | |
| 3 | each | bananas | ripe, crushed well |
| 2 | cups | flour, all-purpose | |
| 1 | teaspoon | baking soda | |
| 1/4 | cup | nuts | chopped |
Cream shortening, add sugar.
Cream again, then add crushed bananas to creamed shortening and cream again.
Beat all ingredients together.
Bake in loaf pan in slow oven until done.

I tried this with top sirloin steak. The family loved it. very tender and flavorful.
