Ingredients

1/2 pound pork cubed
1/2 pound beef cubed
1/2 pound cheddar cheese, very old, sharp grated
1/2 pound noodles cooked & drained
1 can soup, cream of mushroom
1 can soup, cream of chicken
1/2 cup water
1/2 each green bell pepper chopped
1/2 can pimentos (small can) drained
1 tablespoon margarine, non-fat

Directions

Brown meat using oleo. Remove meat from skillet and scrape skillet with 1/2 cup water, add water to other ingredient and mix. Add mixture to a pyrex dish and bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes.

Reduce heat heat to 325 degrees and bake for an additional 1 hour.

Top with crushed potato chips.

Quick Graham Bread

This is a fantastic recipe, I've made it many times. It results in a bread with a similar texture to corn bread but wheaty / grahammy tasting. Slighty sweet so a good breakfast bread, but not too sweet to eat with dinner. I've found you can substitute vegetable oil for the shortening without changing the result much except that the thinner batter makes a smoother crust (cutting back slightly on the liquid will give the same craggy crust that the shortening version produces). I've also substituted buttermilk for the milk with good result.
