strudel filling with sour cream/egg
Does anyone have the recipe for the old fashioned sour cream and egg strudel filling? An old Hungarian neighbor use to make this for us during the holidays. She has passed away and none of us ever thought to get the recipe from her. Any information will be greatly appreciated!

My Hungarian Grandmaother made this studel so maybe it can be modified for your needs.
COTTAGE CHEESE STRUDEL/PIE
2 beaten eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1 tblsp. lemon juice
1/2 cup blanched raisins
1 tsp. vanilla
blend well and add cream until soft and fluffy
add dash of salt and add 2 cups cottage cheese.
beat together and put in a pie shell or wrap as strudel. and bake
** if using dry cottage cheese you may want to increase the cream.
