Ok I just joined this so I can hopefully find the recipes that I am looking for. I am interested in finding a sugar cookie recipe, I want it to be a soft cookie, that can be rolled and cut into shapes. I would also like a GOOD frosting recipe to go on top of it. I made about 5 different sugar cookie recipes this year for Christmas and I can't get it right. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

Cookie-Cutter Sugar Cookies

These cookies are just as you say they are. Soft and Chewy. I have been looking for a recipe like this for years. Thank You So Much!!! p.s. I think I may substitute lemon extract for the vanilla for something different

These are the best sugar cookies I've ever had! They really are soft and chewy! After I flattened the cookies out, I sprinkled more sugar on the tops and gently pushed it down with the back of the spoon. It made them extra tasty!

I was looking for a simple sugar cookie recipe, and I have to say that these are the BEST EVER!!! The only things I did differently were I used a vanilla butter and nut flavor extract and I used several different sugars as well as M&M's. They turned out awesome! I also laid wax paper down on the pan and liked how the cookies turned out better than the ones I laid directly onto the pan. Wonderful recipe-thank you!!
