hi nancy this actually made me chuckle because my hubby teased me when i asked the same question he told me I had to go up into the mountain's to bake a cake see i moved from a mountainless city to the country.lol the real answer to this is that most recipes that require high altitude bakeing i was told in truth meant that it required vegetable oil added to the recipe
