Barley and corn recipe

Years ago we enjoyed a recipe that I can not find. HELP :-) Please. I know the ingredients included barley, corn, chicken broth, onion, italian dressing. It was a great side dish. The recipe I used was in a large hardback cookbook which I no longer have. I would really appreciate if anyone has this recipe or can help me locate it. Thank you so much.
