Lost grandma's christmas cookie recipe

Lost Christmas cookie recipe. Grandma made these with RIce Krisipies, dates and brown sugar. Rolled these into balls. Don't know name or rest of ingredients. Please help.

Date Rice Krispie Balls

A wonderful holiday treat that are simple to make!

1/2 cup butter

1 cup firmly packed brown sugar

1 cup chopped dates

1 teaspoon vanilla

2 cups Rice Krispies

2 cups grated coconut

Combine butter, dates, and brown sugar in saucepan.
Heat and stir until mushy.
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and rice Krispies.
Roll into small balls and cover in coconut.

RICE KRISPIE DATE BALLS

1 stick butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 (8 oz.) chopped dates (with sugar)
1 c. pecans, chopped
1 c. Rice Krispies cereal
1 tsp. vanilla

In saucepan, melt butter and sugar over low heat. Add dates and cook 3 minutes and remove from heat. Add nuts, Rice Krispies and vanilla. When cool enough to handle, form small balls and roll in powdered sugar or coconut.

GOOF BALLS

Ingredients :
1 c. peanut butter
1 c. powdered milk
1/2 c. honey
1 c. Rice Krispies
1 c. coconut

Preparation :
Mix together and roll in balls and refrigerate. Can be dipped in
chocolate or vanilla almond bark.

Grandma's Rice Krispie Cookies

1 cup margarine 3 1/2 cups flour
1 cup oil (use less) 1 tsp. salt
1 cup white sugar 1 tsp. soda
1 cup brown sugar 1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 egg 1 cup rice krispies
1 tsp. vanilla 1 cup coconut
1 cup oatmeal

Cream shortening, oil, sugars, add egg, vanilla. Add dry
ingredients. Bake at 350o.

RICE KRISPY DATE BALLS

1/2 c.butter
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. dates, chopped
1 egg, beaten
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. vanilla
7 c. Rice Krispies
Coconut

Melt butter in saucepan; add sugar, dates, egg, salt, and vanilla. Cook until thick. Pour over Rice Krispies and stir until well coated. Form into small balls and roll in coconut. (Tint coconut for festive holiday balls.)
