Need the recipe for Spice Cake Mix and Apple Pie Filling with a topping of Brown Sugar, nuts, and not sure rest of topping ingredients. Thank-You, Spunki

APPLE CRUNCH

2 cans apple pie filling

1 box spice cake mix

1 c. (2 cubes) melted butter

1/2 c. chopped nuts

Pour 2 cans apple pie filling into 13 x 9 inch Pryex dish.

Mix spice cake mix and melted butter together. Add chopped nuts. Pour over apples.

Mix topping and sprinkle over top.

Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. Serve warm or cool with whipped topping. This will keep well in the refrigerator for 3 or 4 days if you are lucky to have leftovers. It's better the next day.

STREUSEL TOPPING:

1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar

2 tbsp. flour

2 tbsp. butter, softened

1/2 c. chopped pecans

Whipped topping; optional

In small bowl, combine all streusel ingredients; sprinkle over top and bake cake.
