Helpdesk email from Jo:

I hope you can help me. I was looking at your recipe 'Pot Roast(Microwave)'.
It called for 'MICRO-SHAKE' I have a cookbook that is old, with that, and it explained how it browned meat in the microwave and kept it juice. I have looked all over the internet and can not see a place to get it.
Can you tell me where i can get it?
Thank you for our attention

Helpdesk email from Morris:

Saw a query by member re: "Micro-shake" for recipe for microwave pot roast. I have used that product for 25 years...finally ran out about a year ago. It was produced by Micro-shake Food Co. in Malibue, CA and sold in microwave-related food stores in the late 1970's. Have not seen it since, nor have I been able to locate it. Micro-shake Food Co is listed on the container as a subsidiary of Micro-wave Food company...same POBox number in Malibu as of 1979 or 1980. Would appreciate current information on product if anyone has it.

I'm not familiar with Micro-Shake but am an avid microwave person. I purchased an item called Micro-Roast at one of those "As Seen on T.V." stores in our mall. It browns evenly . You may want to check that out. It was about $10-12 if I recall correctly.
If your mall doesn't have one of these stores,am sure you can probably find it on online somewhere.

I have not seen this product in a long time. I, too, use it and was fortunte enough to find some on sale a few years ago. I guess it was a close out, so I bought many of each kind.
I wish I could give you some.
