Mccall's great american recipe chocolate chip cookies

I am looking for a chocolate chip cookie recipe from Mccall's Great American Recipe Card...not sure what card number it was but would sure appreciate it if you can help me out on this. I am 8 months pregnant and am really craving for chocolate chip cookies and I really love this recipe which I used to bake. So please if anyone can help me out on this, it will surely satisfy my cravings. Thank you in advance and may god bless..

Chocolate Chip Cookies from McCalls

OUR RICH HERITAGE # 7

1 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons sifted all purpose flour,

1/2 teaspoon baking soda,

1/2 teaspoon salt,

1/2 cup granulated sugar,

1/4 cup light brown sugar firmly packed,

1 egg,

1 teaspoon vanilla extract,

1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts or pecans,

1/2 cup soft butter or margarine,

1 package (6oz.) semisweet chocolate chips.

Preheat oven to 375. In large bowl, sift flour with soda and salt. Add sugars, egg, vanilla, and butter. With wooden spoon, or electric mixer at medium speed, beat until smooth and well combined, about one minute. Stir in nuts and chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoonfuls, 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden.... Cool on wire rack.

CHOCOLATE CHIP-RAISIN COOKIES

Substitute 1 cup raisins for 1 cup nuts.

Use direction above.

CHOCOLATE CHIP COCONUT COOKIES

Substitute 1 cup coconut for 1 cup nuts.

Use directions above.

Best Ever Chocolate Squares

Grandma's Cookies Card # 1 Card 16

Cookie crust

1 c. flour

1/2 tsp baking powders

1/2 c. chopped pecans (Optional)

1/4 c powdered sugar

1/2 stick margarine

1 Tablsp orange zest

1. Mix flour, baking powders into a bowl.

2. Add butter, blend into flour, with fingers or pastry cutter. Add pecans.

3. Add podwered sugar and zest, mix well and press into a 8 inch pan.

4. Bake 7 minutes. 350 degrees F.

FILLING:

1 cup semi sweet chocolate pieces.

5. Spread chocolate chips over hot crust. As soon as chips melt, spread evenly over crust.
If chips don't melt quickly, put pan back in oven for a few minutes.

TOPPING:

3 eggs

3/4 cup sugar

2 tablsp grated orange peel

Dash nutmeg

3 tablsp all-purpose flour

1/2 teasp baking powders

Powdered Sugar for Garnish

6. Combine all ingredients for topping in a bowl. Mix thoroughly.

7. Pour mixture over chocolate layer.

8. Bake at 350 degrees for about 25 minutes or until top is lightly browned.

9. Cool. Dust with powdered sugar. Cut into squares.

Makes 20 bars
