I am from Germany and when I go back to visit I always get these from teh bakery. I have searched everywhere for the recipe but the internet is not helping :(
It is a light pastry like twisted stick with poppy and sesame seeds on the outside. In the inside of the stick there is a little bit of a tomatoey sauce, not really spicy, but it is flavorful.
