I'm looking for an easy chewy chocolate cookie recipe if anyone out there has one, i'd be willing to trade off my chewy peanut butter cookie recipe!!

SOFT-CHEWY CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. oatmeal (powdered in blender)
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 pkg. chocolate chips (semi-sweet)
1 1/2 c. nuts (optional)
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cream butter and sugars. Blend in eggs; add oatmeal. Mix dry ingredients. Mix will be very stiff. Mix in chips and nuts. Put 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 9 minutes - no more!
CHEWY CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. white sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 c. plus 2 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 sm. pkg. chocolate chips
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. nuts (optional)
Mix well and bake at 325 degrees for about 6 minutes or until barely turning brown.
