I found this one:

SWEET AND SOUR PARTY MEAT BALLS

1 lb. ground beef
1 lb. sausage
2 c. soft bread crumbs
2 lg. garlic cloves, mashed
2 tbsp. finely chopped onion
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. corn starch
1 c. tarragon vinegar
1 1/2 c applebutter
3 drops hot sauce
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 green pepper cut in 1 inch pieces
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
Combine first 7 ingredients, mixing very well.
Shape into 1 inch balls. Brown in the butter over medium heat and remove meatballs to a 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan.

Combine corn starch and vinegar in medium saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until clear and thick. Stir in remaining ingredients. Pour over meatballs. Bake at 300 degrees for 40 minutes.

NOTE: Double recipe and enough for 25 people when served with finger foods and dips. For main course, enough for at least 8 people served with a vegetable, a starch, bread and salad.
