There’s nothing more quintessentially British than watching the ultimate summer game played out by stars in crisp whites, accompanied by a smooth cocktail to beat the heat.

Ingredients
1 strawberry
5ml gomme
10ml double cream
10ml Fraise de bois
20ml Crème de cacao
25ml vodka

Directions
- Muddle strawberry with gomme syrup in base of cocktail glass
- Add cream, fraise de bois, crème de cacao and vodka
- Fill with ice and then place in cocktail shaker
- Shake vigorously and double strain into chilled martini glass
- Garnish with fresh strawberry
